This past Thursday was my first time 'mentoring' for Youth In Focus I hung out at ACT Theater downtown who was having an opening reception for a new art installation done by SOIL. I was assigned to help out 17 year old Nina who was taking photos of the event for ACT's press release. This girl is lightyears beyond where I was as a naive/hopeful/future photographer when I was her age 10 years ago. I'm so excited to delve into more mentoring and teaching with Youth In Focus; and here's some shots I took while hanging out:
