Anais Mitchell

I had the amazing opportunity this past tuesday night to see Anais Mitchell at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle. This lady is on fucking fire, signed on Righteous Babe Records and recently on tour opening for Ani DiFranco.(my teenage idol) It's been soo long, too long since i've heard good simple evocative folk music, my friend Jack Wilson who I attended the show with said she's just in a different higher category of song writing that is so rare these days. And also what a fucking sweet heart (!) wish I wouldn't have ducked out on the after party.... This video is awful off of my point and shoot camera with a low ISO whatever the emotion is clear
